If you have been following Raila Odinga’s campaigns in the last few months, you will possibly notice that the former premier has drastically changed his campaign strategy.
The choice of songs he is campaigning with, the dress code, the tweets baba is making, words he is using compares to previous rallies, and the rotational of MC’s in his Events will possibly tell that Odinga has rejuvenated his campaign team.
In the dress code and tweets, there is no doubt baba is leaving nothing to chance as he tries to woo the youth. Odinga has also chosen to be careful with his wordings to avoid being offensive to his opponents as was witnessed in some previous campaigns.
To bolster his campaign, Odinga has today launched a ”4 U’s mantra” which he believes would be a catchy slogan as he steps up his presidential bid come 2022.
The 4 U’s are UTU, USAWA, UMOJA AND UZALISHAJI MALI.
UTU is a Swahili word that means humanity, USAWA means equity, UMOJA is unity and UZALISHAJI means harvest.
Raila announced his 4 U’s when he had a Rally in Nairobi’s Kamkunji grounds.
