After hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons for the past couple of months, Kenyans have now something to celebrate from our men and women in uniforms. This is after a Nakuru-based police officer warms the heart of many by rescuing a pregnant street woman.
Samwel Ondimu Ngare, an administrative police corporal, went beyond her call of duty and help Margaret Akinyi who was living as a street woman with pregnancy.
The officer had on 1st September, picked the heavily expectant Margaret to Provincial General Hospital in Nakuru while on labour, and through God’s help, she delivered a bouncy baby girl whom she proudly name Talia. Margy, delivered through C-Section.
The kind and good-hearted corporal Ondimu extended his God-given blessings to Akinyi by renting a fully furnished house for her.
Ondimu’s generosity did not go unnoticed after a number of Kenyans extended their helping hand by shopping for the mother of one.
The Corporal was also there when a happy Akinyi was leaving the hospital with her little angel.
